Brief Description

A systematised training to work your performing skills, exploring new emotional territories, from the body, from playing and from the creative impulse.

Linking production after production means having to give results constantly, which can cause our body to enter a state of emptiness and stress. Without realising it, creativity ends up becoming simply producing. We may find ourselves with the uncomfortable impression of being grateful to be active, but having lost the pleasure of being creative is a sensation that surely runs ahead from what made us choose this profession: the vital energy of exploring and feeling free. Escaping from that feeling of pressure for the result is the basis of Nuria’s determination to seek strategies to cultivate a sustained creative state as an inexhaustible principle of pleasure.

As a director and choreographer, she combines production with research, maintaining those spaces of search, no matter how minimal they may be, with the commitment to nurture the body-mind connection, to promote experimentation and to boost in each performer the state of freedom and creative pleasure.

With the aim that you can experiment beyond the resources you usually use and help you get out of familiar interpretive terrains, I propose this course with a series of exercises to awake the body “lookout”, and with staging situations designed for you to “transit’ from the idea of play as a procedure. You will be able to train your emotional range, and access that unlimited creative flow, essential in the acting discipline, just as an athlete, a musician or a dancer trains theirs.

You will train your “commitment” with the rules of the game posed by the situation, allowing that, instead of speculating or psychologizing with it from the truthfulness of the ‘here and now’, you will let your emotional truth prevail and produce the illusion of what you ‘represent’ in a personal and unique way: your own. You wil also experience while performing a state of versatility, detail and creative freedom in the physical, mental and emotional connection and performance free from prejudice, allowing the pleasure of feeling in flow with your genuine creative impulse to guide you.

Who is this workshop aimed at?

Actors and actresses; dancers, stage directors, professionals, those interested in being prepared for their performance and / or continuing to learn from it.

juego.
• Potenciar el placer del juego.

Speaker: Mariana González Roberts

In Spanish, with an interpreter in English.

Suitable for young creatives between 18 and 30 years old.

Brief Description

How do you go about accelerating your growth without getting lost on pathways that
work well for others? At the beginning of our careers it’s quite natural to follow
models that inspire us and help us find our way. However, if we’re not careful, this
can deflect our focus and shut down the very things that make us authentic.
In this workshop, I invite you to explore strategies of successful artists and to adapt
them to your own creative style, your vision of success and your unique way of
communicating.

What will we cover in this workshop?

1- Analysis of Models of Success: we’ll explore cases of successful artists in the
world of performing arts, identify strategies that can be used to stand out, career
pathways and the main distinguishing features of your personal framework.
2- Study of the personal brand: definition of the idea of success. Communication
style. Main distinguishing point on a creative level.
3- Personalised adaptation: by means of practical exercises I’ll help you take a
considered strategic framework and adapt it to your personal vision and strengths,
along with your creative and communicative style to best determine the steps to
follow that align with your identity and unique objectives.
Maximum participants: 6 (where being a Company is counted as one participant)

About Mariana González Roberts

With over 24 years of experience, I have dedicated my life to creating spaces for women
leaders to discover and take up real positions of authority. My mission is to dismantle
learned behaviours that lead many women to downplay or devalue their own achievements,
by helping them reclaim their rightful place with confidence and authenticity.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside hundreds of extraordinary
women: from successful entrepreneurs and political leaders to directors of cultural projects,
visionary businesswomen, corporate executives, celebrated artists, influential therapists and
strategic consultants. I have been a “backstage” witness of their professional lives,
understanding the complexities and unique challenges that confront women in their
professional journeys.

My specialisation is to identify and neutralise the internal “energy thieves” and the patterns
that constrain mindsets, thus impeding women from fully exercising their leadership,
validating their emotions and celebrating their successes. By means of best practice and
with a personalised approach, I’ve helped my clients to transform their thinking, strengthen
their self-esteem and deploy their full joy and brilliance.
