Synopsis:

José Ovejero (Spanish actor, writer and winner of the Alfaguara prize in 2013, for his novel La Invención del amor) brings ‘Qué Raros son los Hombres’ to FeSTeLõn 2018. Taken from a collection of stories written by Ovejero himself, ‘Qué Raros son los Hombres’ was adapted for the stage in 2015. Ovejero did this with the aim of closing the distance between writer and reader, by moving his work onto the stage the author is able to present his words directly and create a live and immediate experience between the audience and himself.

In this play, which manages to be at times dramatic and at times comic, Ovejero, under the experimental direction of Eusebio Lázaro, presents three vastly different stories in which each character (all performed by Ovejero himself) has to deal with varied situations of a very distinct nature.
