Kathryn Phillips-Miles and Simon Deefholts
Kathryn Phillips-Miles and Simon Deefholts have been involved with FesTeLõn from the earliest days and have translated and surtitled several of the plays presented at the festival, including works by Juan Carlos Rubio, Federico García Lorca, Susana Hernández & Ascen López, Jesús Torres and Alberto Conejero. Their published translations include novels by Julio Llamazares, José Ovejero and Juana Manuela Gorriti, as well as a volume of short stories by Cristina Fernández Cubas. They have recently edited and translated an anthology of short stories by six Spanish women writers, published by Dedalus Books
